Privacy policy

This policy describes how Juujarvis, a private family assistant operated by Heikki Taavettila, handles information. It applies to iMessage, email and text messaging (SMS).

Information collected

• Phone numbers and email addresses of family members who use Juujarvis
• The content of messages exchanged with Juujarvis
• Information family members choose to share, such as calendar events, reminders and tasks

How information is used

Information is used only to provide the assistant to the family: to answer questions, deliver reminders and keep track of tasks. It is not used for advertising, marketing or profiling.

Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Messages are processed by the service providers needed to operate Juujarvis: Amazon Web Services (message delivery and storage) and Anthropic (the AI model that writes replies). They process data only to provide those services. Information is never sold.

Retention

Messages are kept only as long as needed to provide the assistant, and at most one year, unless a family member asks for something to be kept longer (for example a warranty receipt).

Your choices

Text STOP to stop text messages at any time. To have your information deleted, email info@taavettila.net.

Security

Connections are encrypted, stored data is encrypted, and access is restricted to the operator.
